Totally satisfied with this purchase. I haven't used the awning yet, even though I've had it on the van for a year, but it seems to work well. The installation went pretty well, but wasn't exactly simple. Had to reread the instructions a few times to make sure I was installing it as intended. Worked fine but the instructions were almost worthless , you had to figure out yourself.
great kit. perfect fit. The only issue I see is that e-trailer might as well make a note that use of the Q&A section of their website is recommended since the installation guide lacks written instructions. Some of the pictures could use a little more info.
Wish I did theirs one first. So easy to open and close being a short person.
Product instructions were slightly confusing, no words, only diagrams. I also had to make adjustments for this adapter kit to work with the 12.5 long awning on my extended wheelbase Promaster, but I am ultimately very satisfied with this product! Be aware that you should also purchase adhesive, sandpaper and primer for using this product. Fast delivery and a good fit (once adjusted) for my Thule awning and Promaster van.
Box arrived and was tore up, luckily nothing fell out. It's easy to install, and seems it will do a good job of keeping the rain from coming under the awning. Thanks etrailer, you always have great service.
